Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 28, 2026
Latin Festival Easton (latinfestivaleaston.com) is operated by MARMA LLC, doing business as Black & Blue, in Easton, Pennsylvania. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. The festival is a free community event, and we keep our data practices simple: we collect only what we need to run the event, and we never sell personal information.
Who we are
MARMA LLC (operating as Black & Blue) Easton, PA Email: terracafes@gmail.com Phone: 610-733-0509
We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.
What we collect
Newsletter signup. If you join our mailing list, we collect your email address. We use it only to send festival news and updates.
Vendor applications. If you apply to be a vendor, we collect the details you enter in the application form: business name, contact name, address, phone number, email, the products you plan to sell, your booth choice, and your signature. This information is emailed directly to the festival organizer and is not stored in any database on the website.
Analytics. The site runs a small first-party analytics script (auctus-analytics.js, built by our web developer, Auctus Apex) that records page views so we can see which pages are useful. It does not track you across other websites and does not build advertising profiles.
Browser storage (localStorage). The site saves three small settings in your browser: your language preference (English or Spanish), your cookie consent choice, and whether you dismissed the newsletter popup. These stay on your device and are not used to identify you.
Google Maps. The home page includes an embedded Google Map showing Riverside Park. When the map loads, Google may set its own cookies and collect information under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). You can manage this through our cookie preferences page.
We do not run advertising, do not offer user accounts, and do not take payments on this site.
How we use your information
- To send the newsletter emails you asked for
- To review vendor applications and contact applicants
- To understand how the site is used and improve it
- To remember your language and consent choices
Who we share it with
We use Resend (resend.com), an email delivery service, to send newsletter emails and to deliver vendor application submissions to the organizer. Resend processes this data on our behalf and under our instructions. Google provides the embedded map as described above. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.
How long we keep it
Newsletter email addresses are kept only as long as needed to run the event and the mailing list, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Vendor application information is kept for the current event season and then deleted.
Your rights and choices
You can ask us at any time to:
- See the personal information we have about you
- Correct it if it is wrong
- Delete it
- Remove you from the newsletter (every email includes an unsubscribe link, or simply reply and ask)
To make any of these requests, email terracafes@gmail.com. We will respond as soon as we reasonably can.
The festival is a United States event based in Pennsylvania. We do not sell or "share" personal information as those terms are defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act, and Pennsylvania currently has no comparable state privacy law. If you visit from a place with stronger privacy rules, such as the European Union, we will honor the same access, correction, and deletion requests described above.
Children
This is a general-audience website for a family-friendly event and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email terracafes@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Security
Newsletter signups and vendor applications are transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Because form submissions are delivered by email rather than stored in a database, the amount of data held on the website itself is minimal.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example for a new festival season. The current version will always be posted at latinfestivaleaston.com/privacy-policy with its effective date. If we make significant changes, we will update the date and, where appropriate, post a notice on the site.
